While travelling in New York I happened to be out in a night club when this girl kept talking to her boyfriend and continually staring at me! I was quite paranoid until her boyfriend came over and asked "My girlfriend would like to know if you bought your necklace at Tiffany's!" I said, "Actually no, I had a Canadian designer do it for me." Got quite a laugh out of that! Funny, I did notice similar pieces in high end NY jewellery stores in the $300 plus range!
